Mariella Marroquin

Mariella Marroquin is a yoga, meditation and sound ceremony teacher and the founder of Gratitude Journal Project, which she created in 2017 as a way to be present and enjoy life each day, whatever it brings.

The project grew from a wish for a place to focus on gratitude: a journal that could go anywhere, that each person could make their own, and that could help turn gratitude into a habit. Mariella founded it to offer tools and spaces for more people to build that habit and receive its benefits. Its offerings include gratitude journals, books, programs, talks, sound ceremonies and rituals, all centered on gratitude, meditation and yoga. She also guides gratitude meditations on Insight Timer.

Her training includes Meditation and Hatha yoga teaching (200 hours), Kundalini Yoga (220 hours), a Sound Ceremony certification (150 hours), Reiki I and II, and a Yoga Kids certification. She has practiced Ashtanga yoga, meditation and gratitude for more than six years, and also teaches horseback riding to children.

Mariella describes herself as an eternal seeker who gathers wisdom from different lineages and traditions, with a mission to be of service. In a simple and accessible way, she brings together teachings from the natural, spiritual and human worlds, offered with humility, reverence and devotion.
